His relationship with Cabilliant has produced an extensive body of collaborative and independent work. Releases such as Deleting PhotosNarcosGhanaJourney, and West Side connect Derek’s individual identity with the collective’s evolving catalog. His collaborations with Kendflow include the EP Last Train Home and the single WMDMT

His experience extends beyond his personal releases. Through his work with Flow Music, Derek contributed to content and product development for international communities of DJs and music producers. His responsibilities included managing creative teams, supervising audiovisual production, maintaining technical quality standards, and helping develop tools and opportunities for working DJs.

That relationship later resulted in Se Formó, a 2025 Afro-house collaboration between Derek Romero and renowned Puerto Rican producer DJ Nelson. The release brought Derek’s creative work into direct collaboration with one of the influential figures connected to Latin urban and electronic music.

Within Cabilliant, Derek is more than an individual artist. He is a long-term creative collaborator whose work reflects the value of community, shared knowledge, and artistic discipline.

His approach aligns with Cabilliant’s commitment to culture, lifestyle, and legacy. Each production becomes part of a broader record of the people, relationships, places, and creative moments that shaped it.

Through his solo work, collaborations, and technical contributions, Derek Romero continues to build a catalog that values movement without losing intention, experimentation without abandoning craft, and progress without erasing identity.
