Kendflow is a Venezuelan artist, music producer, DJ and creative director whose work is rooted in culture, artistic independence and community.
He is the founder of Cabilliant, an independent record label and creative collective created to give talented artists exposure without asking them to compromise the identity behind their work.
Kendflow’s relationship with music began as both an artist and someone searching for opportunities to be heard. Between 2011 and 2014, he spent years reaching out to blogs, radio programs, platforms, record labels and other artists in an effort to share his music with a wider audience.
The process was difficult, but it introduced him to a global community of independent creators facing many of the same challenges. Many were producing meaningful work without access to the relationships, platforms or resources needed to reach the right audience.
In 2014, an opportunity from Gregor Salto’s record label gave Kendflow some of the exposure he had been pursuing. Rather than treating that moment only as a personal accomplishment, he used it as motivation to support the artists and friends he had met throughout his journey.
Cabilliant began later that year as an FM radio program in Ciudad Bolívar, Venezuela. The program provided a platform for music, artists and ideas that deserved greater visibility. It later evolved into an online showcase series featuring guest DJs and creators from different parts of the world.
In 2015, Cabilliant became a record label and began releasing original music. Through the collective, Kendflow continued helping artists present their work, develop their vision and reach audiences beyond their immediate communities.
A formative chapter in his journey took place while living in Chilean Patagonia. Although geographically distant from many of his collaborators, he continued working with artists internationally while participating in local and regional cultural events. That experience reinforced his belief that art is inseparable from place, community, lifestyle, nature and tradition.
For Kendflow, art is not simply entertainment or a commercial product. It is an expression of how people think, feel, live and understand the world around them. He believes artists carry a natural need to create, question accepted ideas and fight for what they believe.
His work with Cabilliant is guided by culture, beliefs, lifestyle, legacy, nature and tradition. At the center of that philosophy are three principles: culture, lifestyle and legacy.
Culture represents where the work comes from.
Lifestyle represents how the artist lives and expresses it.
Legacy represents what remains.
Kendflow believes artists should become leaders of their own vision rather than followers of temporary trends. His approach encourages creators to protect their individuality, preserve their cultural flavor and create what they genuinely feel.
As both an artist and the founder of Cabilliant, Kendflow continues to build through music, collaboration and community. His purpose is not only to create work of his own, but to help preserve the stories, dreams and artistic identities of others.
